My Dad hooked this lunker with a small jig. This is the smallest fish I've ever seen caught with a lure. Dad caught 4 bass and 1 crappie and I caught 4 bass and 2 bream.

Dad and I started fishing at 3:30pm. I threw my reliable Senko in the black with blue flakes. I caught 4 bass before my lure was torn in half. I switched to a Senko in the watermelon with red flake and caught 2 more bass. At 6:10pm my Dad realized he had a meeting at church at 6pm so we left. The fish seemed as if the males were protecting the beds after the spawn. All fish were in the 1 lb range.

Dad and I started fishing at 5:30pm. I started throwing a white swimbait and caught two. The second bass tore the tail off the lure so I  switched to a blue and white Rapala DT-3 that I had just purchased this past Saturday. I caught two more  with it then I switch to a senko and had several fish on but they all got off. Dad found a lure in his box that was similar to the swimbait I was throwing earlier and he caught one and missed one. I caught one more on a chartreuse spinnerbait and then another on a Rapala DT-6 crawdad color.
